0n 23rd<\/strong> February 2017<\/strong>, the Pakistan Economic Forum (PEF), a group representing federal secretaries (retired & serving) hosted a seminar at Islamabad Club. The single agenda was the presentation of the HF’S, “Recommendations for Pakistan\u2019s National Water Policy Framework.” Ms. Simi Kamal and Mr. Zohair Ashir represented Hisaar Foundation at this seminar. The session lasted more than 2 hours and comprised of intense engagement and a frank exchange of views. The PEF members greatly appreciated the efforts of HF Think Tank and praised the quality of the report and the vision given in the recommendations. Two of the members Mr. Mirza Hamid Hasan and Mr. Fazlullah Qureshi who are closely associated with water issues especially pointed out that it is remarkable that a citizens voluntary body has come out with a document of national importance within such a short time and minimal expenditures whereas government and donors have spent huge amounts of money with limited output. The group also gave valuable inputs and recommendations for further improving the recommendations and pledged their support for disseminating this document.<\/span><\/p>\n

E. Tusneem, Mr. Lutfullah Mufti, Ambassador Mushtaq Mehr, Ahmad Waqar, Mr. Dilawar Ali Khan and Mr. Jawaid Ali Mirza.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
