On 18<\/span>th<\/span> Nov 2017, Hisaar Foundation (HF) facilitated the installation of water filtration plant at Dr. Ruth K.M. Pfau Hospital. This was made possible through the generous donations received in the Ramadan Appeal campaign 2017. The filtration plant has a capacity of purifying 20,000 liters of water daily, a reserve water tank was also installed to store the excess capacity. The filtration plant is located between the Pediatrics and Cardiology Ward and will provide clean drinking water to an estimated 10,000 and 20,000 visitors, patients and hospital staff. <\/span><\/p>\n

A ceremony was held to handover the filtration plant to the hospital. It was attended by Mr. Zohair Ashir (Chairperson HF), Ms. Simi Kamal (Chair Academic committee), Ms. Sanaa Baxamoosa (GM HF), Mr. Ahmed Palwa (Asst. Manager Programs), Dr. Tahir Aziz Sheikh (Medical Superintendent), Dr. Rubina Bashir (Additional MS), Dr. Aftab Memon (Head of Pediatrics Ward) and other staff of the hospital. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
